At 10:15 Mark talks with former 90.1 FM Programmer, George Biswell about his new performance art project: “Sidewalk Radio,” a venture of his Home Town Sound – Mobile DJ Service that will be playing on First Friday, October 4, on the western edge of the Crossroads.

At 10:30 Brenton Cook joins us to play tracks from Midwestern Audio Vol. 2 a new compilation of local music from Midwest Music Foundation with a big CD Release Show, Saturday, October 5, at 9:30 pm, at recordBar, 1020 Westport Rd. with Jorge Arana Trio, Les Izmore, Rev Gusto, and Spirit Is The Spirit.

At 11:00, John Long of Camp Magazine joins us to discuss: Out In the Crossroads, a 2-day street festival on Baltimore Ave, between 19th & 20th Streets, October 4-5. Sponsored by Hamburger Mary’s, Camp Magazine, and LikeMe Lighthouse-Kansas City, to commemorate LGBT History Month, and National Coming Out Day. At 11:15 we’ll talk to St. Louis based musician, Summer Osborne, who’ll perform at ShOUT 2013, Friday, October 11, at 11th & McGee, sponsored by Kansas City Diversity Coalition, an organization created when KC Lesbian & Gay Community Center merged with KC Pride. KCDC is hosting the one-day festival with Social Bar KC, Bistro 303, Missie B’s, & Sidekicks. The event features: Dirty Dorothy, Latrice Royale, and Frenchie Davis.

At 11:39 we’ll talk with Schaeffer Nelson about “OutSpoken KC: Love and Marriage“, a dramatic reading of true stories from Kansas City’s LGBT Community. Monday, October 7th, at 7pm, at Unity Temple on the Plaza. Admission is free.
