New & MidCoastal Releases + Salar Rajabnick & Judy Mills & The Stand Up for Standing Rock Benefit

Mark spins more New & MidCoastal Releases from: Jim James, Leonard Cohen, Heidi Lynne Gluck, A Tribe Called Quest, The Grisly Hand, David Burchfield, Solange, David Bowie, Bonzo Madrid, Blonde Redhead, Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions, Expo ’70, The Country Duo, Joan As Police Woman & Benjamin Lazar Davis, Conor Oberst, Dylan Moses & Friends, Radkey, Toughies, and Matt Otto. We also play R.E.M.

At 11:00, Salar Rajabnik, of the band SALAR, and Judy Mills of Mills Record Company join us to share information about the Stand Up for Standing Rock #waterislife Benefit Show, Saturday, November 19, at Mills Record Company, to raise funds, supplies and awareness for the #waterislife movement and standoff in response to the Dakota Pipeline that runs though Standing Rock. This not just a native issue, but a human issue. All of us need clean water, and we don’t need to desecrate sacred burial sites to build pipelines. Admission is a $10 donation, or you can bring much need supplies like: extreme weather sleeping bags, blankets, hand/feet warmers, or a Lowe’s gift card. All proceeds go directly to Standing Rock. Area musicians: Teri Quinn, John Keck, Heidi Lynne Gluck, Cody Wyoming, Expo `70, Calvin Arsenia, Ayllu, and SALAR will be performing live, 6:00 to 10:00 PM, at Mills Record Company.
