At 10:11 Kansas City based multi-instrumentalist and singer songwriter, Ethan Eckert joins us to share music from his new solo EP, Punishment Part One, being released on Friday, May 25. The Ethan Eckert Trio recently returned home from a 31-day tour across the United States. Ethan Eckert also plays drums in the band Salty. At 10:35 Shaun Crowley of Manor Records and the band Momma’s Boy, shares information about the Manor Records Summer Showcase, Friday, June 8, at 10:00 pm, at Replay Lounge in Lawrence, Kansas with The Phlegms (from Fayetteville), It’s Me: Ross (from Columbia), Tennis Club (from Joplin), Pale Tongue (from Lawrence), and Momma’s Boy (from Kansas City). In addition to his work with Momma’s Boy and Manor Records, Shaun is also organizing the live music at Voltaire, 1617 Genessee, in the West Bottoms. At 11:00 Nick Carswell of the Lawrence based band Carswell & Hope joins us to share music from their new EP Exit Plan. Carswell & Hope play an EP Release Show on the rooftop of The Oread Hotel, 1200 Oread Ave, Lawrence Kansas, June 2, at 7:00 PM. Songwriter Nick Carswell is originally from Ireland and found a new home on the plains of Kansas forming Carswell & Hope in 2012 with Jason Slote, Austin Quick, Chris Handley, and Jordan Tucker. Calvin was recently signed by Bullseye Records a new record label formed in Kansas City by Jim Andrews and Patrick Sprehe.
