New & MidCoastal Releases + Julia Othmer + Guest Producer Nico Gray

Mark plays more New & MidCoastal Releases from: Violet and the Undercurrents, Remy Styrk, Dead Voices, Julia Othmer, and Slights. Plus, we’ll feature artists participating in Survivors’ Stories: Stand Against Sexual Violence at The Rino and tracks from: Kat King, Bob & Una Walkenhorst, and a spoken word piece from Poet Jen Harris.

At 10:30 Julia Othmer shares stories, and her new single, “Hungry Days (Make Me Feel)” produced with James Lundie, who married Julia in 2016 after the completion of the recording of Julia’s new record. Julia Othmer is a graduate of Park Hill High School and moved to Los Angeles in 2006 to record her first full-length album, “Oasis Motel.” Julia Othmer plays Knuckleheads, at 2715 Rochester Street, Thursday, February 28, at 8:30 pm. At 11:00 Mark welcomes Nico Gray who joins us as a Guest Producer for our second hour. Nico Gray is a frequent contributor to Wednesday MidDay Medley.
