At 10:15 Mark talks with members of the Boston based 6-piece, Art-Rock, Avant-Indie band, Bent Knee who plays The Brick, Wednesday, March 19 with Jorge Arana Trio, and Cloudburst featuring Jeff Harshbarger & Sterling Holmann.

At 10:30 Mark talks with Regina Carter, acclaimed American jazz violinist, born in Detroit, Michigan. Regina Carter’s new release, “Southern Comfort” (Sony Masterworks, February 28, 2014) was inspired by her exploration of the folk tunes her paternal grandfather, a coal miner, would have heard as he toiled in Alabama. The project expanded to include other folk tunes of the region. This is the 9th solo release from this MacArthur Fellows Program “genius grant,” winner. At 11:00 Kansas City based electronic musical artist Jesse Bartmess aka Sinple, joins us as “Guest Producer” for our second hour.
