At 10:15 we’ll talk with Rolf Petermann of Whatever Forever Records in Lawrence, about The Seedco Harvest Festival, September 13, 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm, in East Lawrence at the 800 Block of Delaware. Joining Rolf will be musicians involved in the festival: Andrew Frederick and Mark Osman of the band OILS; Nicholas Stahl of the band Your Friend. and Dean Monkey & the Dropouts; and Brad Girard of the band Haunt Ananta who will all perform several songs live in our 90.1 FM Studios. At 11:15 Sean M. Starowitz joins us to discuss The Talk Shop, a temporary, experimental cultural center that will open in Midtown Kansas City for one year at art space located at 3936 Main, next to Oddly Correct. It will be a vehicle for dialogue by hosting public events at which people will gather to discuss topics that matter in Kansas City, like education, transit or food issues.
