Wednesday MidDay Medley’s Favorite 15 Singles of 2015 + Michelle Bacon’s Favorite Releases of 2015
In our first hour we’ll play Wednesday MidDay Medley’s Favorite 15 Singles of 2015, with music from: Chris Hazelton’s Boogaloo 7, Spirit Is The Spirit, The Philistines, Sunday Heroine, Various Blonde, Kasey Rausch, Wyatt West, Stephonne, The Cave Girls, Mr. and the Mrs., Shades of Jade, Admiral of the Red, David George & a Crooked Mile, The Conquerors, and Bonzo Madrid.
In our second hour, we welcome musician and writer, Michelle Bacon, Editor of the Deli Magazine KC, where she helps to shine a light on area musicians and events. Michelle joins us to play from her favorite musical recordings of 2015. Michelle Bacon is also a freelance writer who has written for The Kansas City Star, The Bridge, and others, and Michelle is the Social Media Assistant for Midwest Music Foundation. Michelle is part of the backbone of the bands: The Philistines where she plays bass, and Chris Meck and The Guilty Birds where she plays drums.
