Will There Be a British Labor Party Resurrection with JC? and More Than a Score: The New Uprising Against High-Stakes Testing

Like the Democrats in the U.S., the British Labour Party has been moving to the right. Now British unions are backing an outspoken socialist for leader of the Labour Party. This week, the Heartland Labor Forum goes to England to ask a leader of the locomotive engineers union, “Can Jeremy Corbyn save the Labor Party?”  Then Jesse Hagopian, a Seattle high school teacher wrote More Than a Score: The New Uprising Against High-Stakes Testing. We’ll discuss his book and the anti-testing upsurge. The Heartland Labor Forum, Thursdays at 6pm, rebroadcast Fridays at 5am.
