Sprouts Radio from the Grassroots is a 30-minute weekly program featuring radio programs produced at community radio stations or by other independent producers from across the country and sometimes around the world.
This week, we feature the second installment in a three-part audio documentary about how women have been colonized by men and the many ways in which they resist this.
The series describes how for six centuries, Western male elite has built a viciously patriarchal world, making war on women and exploiting them mercilessly. It also explores how profits of the global capitalist system have been made possible by the genocide and plunder of women.
