WINGS
WINGS: Women's International News Gathering Service is an all-woman independent radio production company that produces and distributes news and current affairs programs by and about women around the world.
They received training through the help of UN Women and the government of Japan, in partnership with Kenya’s National Cohesion Integration Commission (NCIC). This comes when reports indicate that teenage girls in Kenya are being radicalized even more often than their male counterparts.

Irene Wanyoike is vice chair of Kenya’s National Cohesion Integration Commission. Afya Rama is the chairlady of the Maendeleo ya Wanawake Organization in Mombasa, a nongovernmental organization that empowers women and fights for their rights in the society. Mrs. Kibibi Abdallah is Mombasa County’s director of education. Nancy Mulu is a project officer at Kenya’s National Cohesion Integration Commission. Salma Hemed is a programme officer at Haki Africa, a human rights organization based in Mombasa.
