A Variety show with weekly programs from various immigrant/ethnic communities in the Kansas City area, from their own viewpoint through cultural, musical and original language.
We will travel to the Mediterranean and Middle East to share recordings by Moroccan singer Amina Alaoui and other women from Spain, Turkey and North Africa, in the first hour.
In the second hour, soprano Victoria Botero will perform live songs from her upcoming concert “Morena” July 22 at 1900 Building. She will be accompanied by members of her ensemble, including Beau Bledsoe-guitar, oud/John Kizilarmut-percussion/ GT-viola da gamba.
