Women’s Agenda 21 – Conclusion (Part 2)

Former US Congresswoman Bella Abzug, founder of the Women’s Environment and Development Organization, convened the World Women’s Congress for a Healthy Planet to bring women’s united voices to the UN’s Rio Earth Summit in 1992 and to demand women have an equal role in decision-making on the environment. WEDO is still active in 2017, working on the agenda hammered out in a large international consultative process in Miami. Part 2 of 2.
