Women’s Agenda 21 – Part 1

The World Women’s Congress for a Healthy Planet (1991) brought together women environmental activists from around the world to collaborate on a Women’s Agenda 21 for saving the planet, which became lobbying points for the UN’s Rio Environment and Development Summit and all environment summits since then. The monumental insights in their declaration are more important today than ever before, and yet to be fulfilled. Part one of two featured voices include Peggy Antrobus reading the declaration, and delegates from many countries giving details from the plan.
