Women’s Studies Professor Bonnie Morris

On Saturday July 25th, 2015 Professor Bonnie Morris, Women’s Studies professor at George Washington University, paid us a visit to research our Women’s History Collection for a new book idea.

After a Day browsing through Pacifica Radio Archives collection, we brought Dr. Morris into our KPFK Studios to recap her day s work, her involvement in The Women s Movement, her interest in Women s Music and her opinion of our NHPRC Women s history grant that helped us digitize and catalog 2000 Women s History programs between 1962-1983.

We will weave in some of the programs we digitized with this NHPRC grant into our conversation. Dr. Bonnie Morris Professor of Women’s Studies at George Washington University
