Wednesday MidDay Medley airs from Ten to Noon (Central Time). The 2-hour program is produced and hosted by Mark Manning. The show is "free form" and plays with themes, questions, special events and ideas. We produce our ongoing "New Musical Releases," and our quarterly "A Story in a Song." We feature interviews with local artists and "community organizers" as well as nationally recognized performers and writers. We feature new musical releases, local artists, glam, indie, funk, freak folk, hip hop, alternative, classic country, jazz, punk, techno, retro, lo-fi, electronic, women's, protest, experimental, soul, latin, broadway, folk, prog, acid, new wave, anti-folk, cuban, african, world, ambient and live performances from area writers, and musical artists. On the last Wednesday of every month, Marion Merritt joins us to share music from her encyclopedic brain.
