Your Morning Buzz: Tuesday

Program host Diana Linn Ennis describes her weekly show, “Tasty Brew,” as an eclectic mix of American roots based music genres regardless of the nationality of the performer. Americana music is difficult to define. All American roots based music (rock, folk, blues, country, bluegrass, jazz, zydeco, gospel, etc.) could fall into Americana, as far as I am concerned, hence, I offer listeners a “tasty brew.”

My musical guests run the gamut from Texas singer/songwriters like Guy Clark, Joe Ely, Rodney Crowell, and Lyle Lovett to classic country to progressive bluegrass. I actively promote local and regional musical artists on my show and I regularly volunteer with other KKFI radio shows, including Local Showcase, WomanSong, and The Blues Kitchen.
