Martha Lally is a versatile media professional. She is a native Kansas City girl, but was later educated at SMU in Texas (which explains a lot we can’t talk about here). She has years of live television and radio reporting and producing experience, before living the life of a Corporate Communications Manager in a Fortune 500 company. Returning to broadcasting at KCUR-FM Public Radio, Martha happily left the newsroom to produce the popular Walt Bodine Show and was honored to sit in his co-host seat. She enjoys volunteering, near and far travel, and is fascinated by people and their ideas. Currently Martha serves as the chair of the Kansas City Museum’s Advisory Board. You can hear Martha as the on-air “talking producer” on KKFI 90.1 FM’s “Anything Goes” show. The show’s little studio dog “Hattie” is part of Martha’s family. Hattie secretly makes the big decisions on which guests will be on the show.
