The old Stray Cat, aka LaDonna Sanders, is a decade and more older than Katnip but the Voodoo Kittens have the same thing in mind–bringing you great music. I am rural America born and bred, and in grade school I got hooked on Chantilly Lace by the Big Bopper and Hounddog by Elvis. How lucky am I that it wasn’t the Carpenters or Michael Bolton.
I have done time on the Board of Directors of KKFI 90.1 FM and Kansas City Blues Society, both worthy organizations with many generous-hearted volunteers.
